Some patients leave a truly special impression on our team, and Mr. Ioannou is certainly one of them.

At the age of 68, he underwent a Bentall procedure combined with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), a particularly complex cardiac surgery involving replacement of the aortic root and aortic valve, together with bypass surgery to restore blood flow to the heart.

For the Ioannou family, this was not their first experience with the Cardiac Innovation Center. A few years earlier, we had also had the privilege of caring for his son. The trust that our patients and their families place in us is one of the greatest rewards of our work.

With his calmness, patience and positive attitude, together with the support of his family and the care of our entire medical and nursing team, Mr. Ioannou successfully overcame this challenging experience and returned to his everyday life.
