ENDOSCOPIC CARDIAC SURGEY

Our center is also a pioneer in performing minimally invasive cardiac surgeries (endoscopic, thoracoscopic procedures).  These operations are less painful and allow a faster recovery due to the small wound (incision between the ribs) and non-separation of the sternum.

More than 40 such operations have already been performed, in less than a year with total success and with a valve repair rate approaching 90%.

  • Minimally invasive repair/ replacement of all heart valves

  • Minimally invasive atrial septal defect (ASD) closure

  • Sinus venosus defect with partial anomalous pulmonary vein connection

  • Cardiac Tumors (e.g. Myxoma)
