Last week, we performed 9 cardiac surgeries and had the pleasure of taking photos with many of our patients just before their return home.
Despite the challenges that accompany every surgical procedure, what stood out most was the smile, strength, and positive spirit of our patients. Their trust and cooperation always represent a very important part of this journey.
Out of the 9 patients operated on last week, 5 procedures were performed using minimally invasive techniques, in cases that included:
Aortic valve replacement
Mitral valve repair
CABG (coronary artery bypass grafting)
Minimally invasive cardiac surgery is a modern approach that, in suitable cases, allows for smaller surgical trauma, reduced postoperative pain, and a faster return to daily life.
At the Cardiac Innovation Center, we continue to invest in modern cardiac care, always keeping the patient at the center.
