A Multidisciplinary Approach to Patient Care
Clinical Nutrition Support is an integral part of the comprehensive care provided by the Cardiac Innovation Center.

Nutritional assessment and therapeutic nutritional intervention are carried out in close and continuous collaboration with the Center’s medical team, ensuring that nutritional recommendations take into account the patient’s cardiac and cardiac surgical condition, medical history, medication, and individual needs.
Through continuous communication and collaboration between the Clinical Dietitian – Nutritionist, physicians and other healthcare professionals of the Center, an integrated and individualized approach is developed, incorporating nutrition into the patient’s overall treatment and rehabilitation plan.
Emphasis is placed on the management of factors that affect cardiovascular health, nutritional support before and after cardiac surgery, and the adoption of long-term lifestyle changes.
One Patient, One Care Team, One Common Goal
Our goal is to provide each patient with the best possible support for their health, treatment and recovery through a comprehensive and coordinated approach.
From Surgery to Recovery
Nutritional care does not end at hospital discharge. Appropriate nutritional support is an important part of the recovery journey and may contribute to a gradual return to everyday life and the adoption of a healthier and sustainable lifestyle.
Our approach is based on the principles of evidence-based clinical practice and individualized care, with the aim of ensuring that nutritional changes reflect each patient’s actual needs and capabilities and can be maintained over the long term.
The goal of the service is to ensure that every patient receives the appropriate nutritional support, at the appropriate time, as an integral part of their overall cardiac surgical care.
