❤️ This year, the Cardiac Innovation Center celebrates 5 years of service by opening its doors to the public.
On 10 July, we invite you to a unique experience exploring the world of modern cardiac surgery.
For the first time, you will have the opportunity to tour the Cardiac Innovation Center and discover what happens behind the doors of a modern cardiac surgery center.
Participants will select a specific arrival time during registration. In small groups, they will be guided through the event stations by members of our team.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to:
🔹 Visit a simulated cardiac surgery operating room
🔹 Observe basic cardiac surgical techniques on a porcine heart
🔹 Learn about the heart-lung machine and the role of the perfusionist
🔹 Discover the role of the anesthesiologist during surgery
🔹 Learn about postoperative patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
🔹 Meet the Cardiac Innovation Center team and speak with us
The event is open to patients, family members, students, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about the world of cardiac surgery.
