This year, the Cardiac Innovation Center participated in ACC.26 in New Orleans, the annual congress of the American College of Cardiology—one of the largest and most important international cardiology conferences, where the latest advancements and new research from centers around the world are presented.
As part of the congress, we presented our own study based on our center’s clinical experience.
The study focuses on the early outcomes following pulmonary valve replacement using the Inspiris Resilia Tissue Valve. This valve is a newer biological material with advanced processing, designed for improved durability and longer-term performance, and forms part of our center’s clinical practice for both aortic and pulmonary valve replacement.
Among the patients who underwent pulmonary valve replacement, during the follow-up period:
No deaths were recorded
No reoperations were required
No major valve-related complications were observed
Valve function remained stable over time
Our participation in such international congresses reflects our ongoing commitment to monitoring and evaluating our outcomes, with the aim of continuously improving the care we provide. At the same time, it highlights internationally the work being carried out at our center and the continuous advancement of cardiac surgery within our team.
