About the event

This year, the Cardiac Innovation Center celebrates 5 years of service by opening its doors to the public.


On July 10th, we invite you to a unique opportunity to explore the world of modern cardiac surgery.


For the first time, you will have the chance to tour the facilities of the Cardiac Innovation Center and discover what happens behind the doors of a modern cardiac surgery center.


Upon registration, participants will select a specific arrival time. In small groups, visitors will be guided through the event stations by members of our team.


During the tour, you will have the opportunity to:

πŸ”Ή Observe basic cardiac surgical techniques performed on a porcine heart

πŸ”Ή Learn about the heart-lung machine and the role of the perfusionist

πŸ”Ή Discover the role of the anesthesiologist during cardiac surgery
